Mar 21, 2021 · 2013 Citroen C4 Picasso. suddenly, this morning, several warning lights came on (ASR, Parking Brake, Tyre Deflation and Eco) and cruise control not working. Ran diagnostic and it said repairs needed. The Parking brake works fine but no indication on the touch screen appears. The ASR button lights up and stays lit.
Feb 8, 2019 · There are lots of possible faults (below), but you would apparently be most worried about fault C1556 as it may mean replacing the handbrake mechanism. You should first check battery age and condition, connectors, earth points and the harness for a possible rub through near the pedal gear support stay.

Put new springs and pads into calliper and re-assemble with new bolt, using Copaslip and Loctite appropriately. 10. Check everything before putting wheel back on, and lower car to the ground. 11. Pull up the handbrake several times to take up slack and pump the brake pedal until things stiffen up.

Its a electronic handbrake the button will just flash and just show handbrake fault on dash. Read up about the cables been rusted which they was on drive side so sorted that out tidy up and taped all up so hopefully no more water but it still
